Meeting are usually held on the second Monday of each month (except Public Holiday).
Meetings last about 2 hours; they are informal, relaxing and very informative.
We discuss what we are doing in our garden at present, exchange tips and any items of interest we might be doing, new products and forthcoming events.
This can involve open gardens, flower show notices and anything of gardening interest.
A rainfall report for Cherry Gardens is also given.
Club visits for those interested are sometimes arranged to open days, specialist nurseries and to members gardens. Details of any outing are given at each meeting.
Guest Speakers on a wide range of subjects are informative and stimulating. Subjects range from organic gardening, environment and conservation, overseas trips, rare fruits, growing different flowers and foliage, orchids and to other gardening related subjects.
Meeting conclude with a door prize and a light supper. A time for members to catch up with one another.
